Rebuilding, Revising and Relearning

Since the track day crash, we have been getting all the needed parts and working many hours to get ready for a few more practices and then continued racing in fall.
We were lucky! The frame, motor, rims and forks were undamaged. So all we really had to do was replace the following:
clips ons (handle bars)
grips
brake resevouir
brake line
tires
full race fairings
front fairing bracket
rear sub frame
sliders
sprocket
chain
pegs
windshield
tank repaired and repainted
paint, numbers, decals
Nothing money cannot buy (if I had it!). Of course we will need to reset bike up when we get to track. We are also looking for a good coach to work with Skyler and shake out whatever technique issues he has or bike issues that are keeping him from going as afast he is capable. He has been riding faster and faster and somewhere between his technique or the bike we are missing something. This is where we suck it up and admit that we need directions and help.
Two weeks to track day and four weeks to race day. Gotta lot to do, gotta go......... ride safe.
