Last Parts - for now

We have been working hard trying to get everything back together before this weekend's Track Day. Oh crap, I just realized I forgot to schedule and pay for this upcoming weekend. (excuse me....)
Okay , left begging message that we needed to register for track day, will pay by CC tomorrow. Hope they hold spot.
Back to the bike, the next to the last part arrived today. Rear subframe and fairing bracket from R & R Racing in Illinois. Wow, nice welding and products. (r-r-racing.com) Service was great and a pleasure to deal with. I have attached some product photos of what we got.
I painted the replacement practice skins, and not too bad for rattle can, if I say so myself. Two colors, red and white to match race skins. Left the numbers off. When we get it together I'll post a couple shots. I kept telling Skyler I was painting them purple or pink and even threatened to paint arrows with "This side up" on it. He was relieved to see it look normal.
The last part is a CRG lever, I ordered at last minute. FedEx and I have a love hate relationship. They love me, I hate them (or should I say their cost).
So far we have added Vortex sprocket, Woodcraft sliders and clip ons, new skins, tires, pegs, laptimer, gear indicator, windshield, etc, etc. I think we have it under control. Of course you would really have to ask Skyler, since he is the one putting it all back together. I am the producer, he is the director and actor. Not a bad analogy.
What we really miss is experience, and I think we have some help on the way. Matt Hartlieb, a successful racer and instructor has agreed to assist us this weekend coming and really give Skyler training on technique and more. We really need it. Skyler is getting towards the times he needs, but I think he needs the training to figure out how to get the most out of the bike safely. I have come to learn, professional lessons are cheaper than repairs. I am sure many have learned that before, but they were all waiting for me learn the hard lesson myself. Thanks everyone!
